RankShield ("we," "us," or "our") is a product of Creative Integrations LLC. We are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, use our services, or submit a form requesting a reputation audit.

This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service. By using our services, you agree to the practices described in both documents.

  • Phone number (mobile)
  • Business name
  • Google Business Profile URL
  • IP address and browser information

Communications Data

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Deliver your free reputation audit
  • Contact you via SMS, email, and/or AI-powered phone calls regarding your audit results, account updates, and service delivery (with your explicit consent)

4. SMS Program Disclosure & Mobile Communications

4.1 Program Name and Description

Program Name: RankShield Reputation Audit & Service SMS Program
Operator: RankShield, a product of Creative Integrations LLC
Program Purpose: Deliver free reputation audits, account updates, service communications, and (where separately consented) marketing messages to opted-in subscribers.

4.2 Types of Messages You May Receive

By opting in through our website form or other RankShield-branded intake channels, you may receive:

  • Audit delivery messages: Notifications when your reputation audit is ready, including links to view the audit and schedule a review call.
  • Transactional / account messages: Service updates, billing notifications, appointment confirmations, and support replies.
  • AI-powered and pre-recorded phone calls to the phone number you provided, for the purposes above.
  • Marketing messages (only if you separately check the marketing consent box): special offers, tips, reputation management insights, and product announcements.

4.3 Dual-Consent Checkbox Model

Our opt-in form presents two separate consent checkboxes:

  • Transactional consent (required to receive your audit): authorizes automated SMS and AI phone calls related to the audit and your account.
  • Marketing consent (optional): authorizes separate marketing and promotional SMS.

You may opt in to one, both, or neither. Consent to receive SMS messages or phone calls is not a condition of purchase or of receiving your free reputation audit via email.

4.4 Sample Opt-In Language

The exact opt-in language presented on our web form reads:

"By checking this box, I consent to receive automated text messages and AI-powered phone calls from RankShield (a product of Creative Integrations LLC) regarding my reputation audit request, account updates, and service communications. Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply. Text HELP for help, reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time."
"By checking this box, I consent to receive marketing and promotional text messages from RankShield including special offers, tips, and reputation management insights. Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply. Text HELP for help, reply STOP to opt out at any time."

4.5 Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your engagement and service tier. Typical volume for transactional messages is up to five (5) messages per week; marketing messages (if opted in) are typically sent up to four (4) times per month.

4.6 Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. RankShield does not charge for SMS messages; however, your carrier's pricing applies.

4.7 Opt-Out Keywords

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying with any of the following keywords:

STOP · UNSUBSCRIBE · CANCEL · END · QUIT

Upon receiving an opt-out keyword, we will send a single confirmation message and will cease sending further marketing or transactional SMS to that number. Opting out of SMS does not opt you out of email or phone contact; to opt out of those channels, contact us at [email protected].

4.8 Help Keyword

Reply HELP at any time to receive contact information for RankShield support, or email [email protected].

4.9 Age Requirement for SMS

You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to opt in to our SMS program. By opting in, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and the authorized subscriber of the phone number provided.

4.10 Carrier Disclaimer

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to carrier-side availability and restrictions.

5. Mobile Information Sharing — Express Disclosure

RankShield will not share, sell, rent, or disclose your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in data, or SMS/MMS message content with any third parties or affiliates for marketing, promotional, or any other purposes.

The only exceptions are:

  • Service subcontractors strictly for the purpose of delivering SMS services on our behalf (e.g., our licensed SMS aggregator / CPaaS provider), who are contractually bound to the same confidentiality standards.
  • Legal authorities when required by law, court order, or subpoena.

This no-sharing clause applies to all mobile information, including opt-in data itself. Opt-in consent and phone numbers are never shared with any other third party or affiliate, including for their own marketing purposes, under any circumstances.

6. Sharing Your Other (Non-Mobile) Information

For non-mobile information (email, name, business data), we may share with:

  • Service providers who assist in delivering our services (CRM platforms, email providers, hosting) under contractual confidentiality obligations
  • Legal authorities when required by law
  • Business successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

We do not sell your personal information.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations.

  • SMS opt-in consent records: retained for a minimum of four (4) years, consistent with TCPA recordkeeping guidance.
  • Communications records: retained for the duration of the client relationship plus seven (7) years, or as required by applicable law.
  • Audit data: retained for the duration of the client relationship unless deletion is requested.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
